The Embassy of the United States of America invites you for a site visit and submission of a quotation for an auction that will be held on January 16th, 2016 in the parking lot of the Palais des Sports in ACI 2000 Bamako.
U.S. Government intends to award a purchase order to the responsible vendor submitting a technically acceptable and price-reasonable offer.
Your quotation must be in English and be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Quotation enclosed” on or beforeJanuary 7th, 2016at 15:00 pm local time to:

A site visit will be held on January 5th, 2016 at 8:30 local time at the U.S. Embassy Bamako, Mali. All interested vendors planning to come for the site visit shall send their name to: goitan@state.gov  on or before January 4th, 2016 at 10h00 Local Time.
STATEMENT OF WORK
Purpose: The US Embassy Bamako is soliciting the service of a qualified auctioneer to conduct an auction for the U.S. Embassy Bamako in Mali.
Location of Work: The auction sale will be held at PALAIS DES SPORTS in ACI 2000 BAMAKO.
Scope of Work:
The auctioneer will be responsible for providing his own laborer crew to assist him in making lots for the auction and all management and logistic aspect of the auction.
The auctioneer will set up lots according to the agencies.
The auctioneer will be responsible in advertising in two newspapers: Essor and Info Matin.
Period of Performance: Thursday, Friday and Saturday, January 14-16th.
Acceptance Criteria:
The auctioneer‘s commission will be no more than 10% of total sale proceeds. The items for sale have been imported to Mali duty free. The purchaser will have to fulfill customs fees comprised between 12% and 42% on top of adjudication price depending on the item. Property is sold on as is basis for cash payment in CFA only without refund or warranty.
Special Requirements: The auctioneer must provide previous portfolio for auction services.
Type of Contract/Payment Schedule: Firm fixed-price.
